Development of a Mine Closure Program - Social and Environmental Responsibility

This workshop will cover aspects of an effective mine closure strategy in accordance with international best practices. Topics to be covered will include a general overview of the mine closure planning process, the physical stability of mining structures, geochemical aspects, surface water management, engineering and designs, as well as new trends regarding the closure of heap leach facilities.
