Support

Our mine ventilation experts provide full technical support for all our software products, including assisting with data collection and reduction, network development, model correlation, and future design analysis.

Each of our programs comes with a user manual and tutorials outlining modelling best practices, and we offer short courses on using the software for ventilation planning and design.

If you have questions about subsurface ventilation modelling or using our software or would like to arrange a course, please either complete the form below or give us a call.

Using Our Encrypted Hardware Keys

When you purchase a license for our software, we send you an encrypted HASP keytag—also called a dongle--to plug into your computer’s USB port. When our software starts up, it looks for the keytag and only runs if this contains the appropriate code.

If your keytag’s error light appears, we’ll need more information to diagnose the problem. Please follow these steps:

  1. Take a screenshot of the error message.
  2. Open a web browser and type http://localhost:1947/. The Sentinel Admin Control Center will be displayed.
Note: If a message informs you that the site can’t be reached, download and install the HASP Drivers then try again.
  3. In the Options sidebar, click Sentinel Keys. Your HASP keytag will be displayed.
  4. Hover over your keytag to display further details and take a screenshot of the whole Sentinel Admin Control Center window.
  5. Email both screenshots to clovis@srk.com.

Applying Licenses to Multiple Subnets (HASP Over WAN)

To apply your license across different subnets, follow these steps on the client at the end of each subnet:

  1. Open a web browser and type http://localhost:1947/. The Sentinel Admin Control Center will be displayed. Note: If a message informs you that the site can’t be reached, download and install the HASP Drivers then try again.
  2. In the Options sidebar, click Configuration.
  3. On the Access to Remote License Managers tab, uncheck Broadcast Search for Remote Licenses. Leave the other boxes checked as shown below.
  1. Beside Remote License Search Parameters, fill in the IP address or host name of either the local computer or network server that the HASP keytag is plugged into.
Note: If you have multiple network interface controllers (NICs) and need to enter multiple IP addresses or host names, enter each on its own line.
  2. Click Submit to save your settings.
