This study investigates the relationship between rock mass, anisotropy, excavation, and blasting influences on the observed groundwater depressurization trends at New Gold's Rainy River Mine located in Ontario, Canada using vibrating wire piezometers (VWPs) installed around the perimeter of the open pit.
