SRK Consulting is very pleased to announce the addition of Bob McCarthy to our Vancouver office. Bob’s specialist knowledge of advanced mining technology enhances the broad range of services already offered by our mining engineering team.
As a professional mining engineer, Bob has 30 years’ experience in mine operations and engineering, asset management, and technology design and implementation. He has worked at numerous mines in western Canada, gaining experience in roles across the spectrum of mine functions and to the level of department manager.
Most recently, Bob has provided technical consulting services and independent expert advice to exploration and mining companies across the Americas. During this time, he has focused on In-Pit Crushing and Conveying (IPCC). Bob has conducted several studies on IPCC, from mine plan reviews to pre-feasibility studies, and has adopted processes and tools that maximize efficiency. Bob has also presented on IPCC at several international conferences.
