We are seeking a Consultant (Hydrogeology).


Description of Responsibilities:

TITLE: Consultant (Hydrogeology)

DUTIES: SRK Consulting (U.S.), Inc. seeks Consultant (Hydrogeology) in Tucson, AZ to support multidisciplinary field investigations consisting of water, soil, and rock. Sample collection, borehole logging, aquifer testing, specialized installations, and subcontractor oversight of drilling, survey, and laboratory operations. Perform data compilation, reduction, analysis, and interpretation using spreadsheets, databases, GIS, and other software tools to support development of conceptual and numerical hydrogeologic models. Assist in development and calibration of numerical hydrogeologic models. Develop reports and prepare presentations, work plans, and proposals.


Essential Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Hydrogeology, Hydrology or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: performing basic groundwater flow and pore pressure modeling tasks with FEFLOW code; performing hydrogeological and mine data analysis utilizing Excel, Aqtesolve, and Leapfrog Geo; performing data visualization and analysis through use of GIS software including ArcGIS; and providing information for reports and technical memoranda and prepared presentations. 15% travel required in the U.S. and internationally. Employer will accept a Master’s degree in one of the above listed fields in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site.
