We are seeking an Underground Mining Engineer for SRK office in Kolkata.

Description of Responsibilities:
- Technical and project management support for engineering studies (scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility)
- Technical deliverables, drawing, design, report writing, presentation making, cost estimations and scheduling,
- Proficiency in underground mine planning software such as Deswik, will be preferred
- Underground metal mining operational experience with working knowledge of resource block models, stope optimizer software, CAD tools and scheduling software
- Other duties as assigned
Essential Requirements:
- A bachelor`s degree in mining engineering or related field
- 2 to 10 years industry experience in underground mining, mine planning, and preferably with a diverse range of commodities
- Proficiency with computerized mine planning and optimization tools, e.g. Deswik, Datamine, MineSight, Vulcan
- Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills
- Ability and desire to collaborate with other technical specialists
- The ability to work in a dynamic, flexible workplace
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage own time effectively
- Ability and willingness to travel and long duration stay at project site, as and when required
