Abhijit has extensive experience in the field of coal exploration and made contributions in the chromite and iron projects. Prior to his current role, Abhijit worked with a Kolkata based coal exploration and mine planning consulting organisation, where he managed exploration projects, conducted geological mapping, geological logging, sampling and prepared geological reports.
He has contributed to managing coal exploration projects, 3D Geology Model and preparing Geological Reports (as per ISP) in the Gondwana coalfields across various states in India. Abhijit has been part of the team for carrying out logging and sampling for iron and chromite projects in India.
Abhijit is proficient in geological modelling software applications such as Minex and Leapfrog
