Atree has a broad range of technical backgrounds, including geological data generation in greenfield and brownfield projects, interpretation of exploration data and simulation of 3D Geology Models, technical due diligence of mineral projects, mineral resource estimation and reporting in accordance with the International Reporting Codes like JORC Code.
Prior to joining SRK, Atree was associated with Vedanta Resources (Hindustan Zinc Limited), mainly involved in underground base metal mines in Rajasthan and performed the role of underground mine geologist involved in exploration and mine production-grade planning and scheduling, dilution control protocols.
Since joining SRK, Atree has been involved with several geological modelling and mineral resource estimation projects, structural mapping, modelling and interpretation, advanced exploration programme planning, data gathering projects, exploration target reporting, technical due diligence of mineral blocks, and value chain management of battery minerals and more.
Atree is proficient in mineral system study, geology modelling and advanced user of Leapfrog. He has good knowledge in Python and its application in Resource Geology.
Atree has a commodity experience of Zinc, Lead, Silver, Copper, Gold, Iron (Hematite and Magnetite), Manganese, Chromium, Diamond, Nickel, Cobalt, Lithium and Graphite. He has been involved in multiple international projects in Nepal, Gabon, Ghana, Mali, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Madagascar, Liberia, Uganda and Pan India.
