Benny has been involved in hundreds of mining projects ranging from business strategy, concept, PEA, prefeasibility, to bankable feasibility studies in both underground and open pit mines/projects; from technical review, technical audit, due diligence, to project valuation; from geotechnical campaign, rock mass classification, to ground control and geotechnical design.
His commodity experience includes gold, silver, platinum, palladium, copper, lead, zinc, nickel, cobalt, tungsten, antimony, niobium, iron ore, rare earths, vanadium, titanium, uranium, potash, and phosphate. Benny has worked on projects across North America, South America, Africa, Asia Pacific, and Europe.
He has authored numerous journal and conference papers, publicly released technical reports, and internal technical reports. He is a frequently invited key notes speaker in many technical exchanges. Benny is also an expert user in modern mine design/planning and geomechanical modelling software suites.
