Brandon is a Hydrotechnical Engineer who specializes in applied hydrology, hydraulics, and climate characterization, with specific application to mining, water supply, and flood forecasting. Brandon’s technical skillset includes hydrological and hydraulic modelling, regional climate characterizations, hydrometric station installation, rating curve development, flood frequency analyses, flood routing assessments, floodplain mapping, engineered and natural channel design, hydrotechnical design of tailings management facilities, water management infrastructure design, water and load balance modelling, and hydrologic data management.
Brandon has collaborated with and managed multi-disciplinary teams, organized and coordinated field programs, liaised with mine operators, First Nations stakeholders, and government regulators. He also has boots on the ground experience at exploration sites and operational mines across Canada and throughout Southeast Asia and the South Pacific.
