Breese has spent more than 25 years in engineering design and environmental permitting services for the mining and solid waste industries.

Breese's experience includes facilities for mine water management, tailings disposal, heap leaching, waste rock disposal, acid seep management, and solid waste disposal. Breese is the Engineer-of-Record for an 1800-acre copper tailings impoundment in Nevada, and has completed site characterization, conceptual and detailed design, construction supervision and management, cover design and infiltration modeling, and operational assessments at numerous mining, industrial, and landfill properties throughout the world.
