Chandan specialises in underground mine planning and technical works of multi-disciplinary technical studies for both national and international reporting. His technical expertise includes strategic mine planning, underground mine optimisation, mine design, scheduling, cost estimation, and technical-economic evaluation. He has experience in various mining software packages including Deswik and Ventsim.
Chandan commenced his professional journey with operational roles at the Rampura Agucha Mine, gaining valuable experience in the transition from Open Pit to Underground Mining. Notably, he served as a Ventilation Officer at the Rampura Agucha Underground Project, where he led the Mine Ventilation team to ensure adequate airflow within the mine to meet the production targets.
Since joining SRK, he has been actively involved in Owner’s Engineer project, Strategic Review, Scoping Study, Pre-feasibility Study, Detailed Feasibility Study, and Resource Reserve Reporting.
