Cori has conducted geological and environmental investigations for various mining operations and environmental permitting activities on behalf of her clients - subject to state and/or federal regulations. Her expertise includes permit negotiations and Aquifer Protection Permit applications, site characterization to support operation, and reclamation designs for waste storage facilities (tailings, leach facilities, waste rock dumps), and integrated approach to ensure environmental aspects are considered at all operational stages.
Cori’s mining geology experience includes gold/copper exploration sampling/drilling, preparation of geological models and support for resource estimates for porphyry copper and molybdenum deposits in Arizona and New Mexico. Database auditing and QA/QC sampling verification, feasibility studies for new mine and expansion developments including open-pit and in-situ solution recovery operations. She has prepared environmental and geology materials for NI 43-101 technical reports, and for preliminary economic assessment and feasibility reports for mining clients.
