David Tait

David is a Principal Consultant Geochemist. His  focus is primarily on evaluating mine water quality for mine planning, operations and closure. David is experienced in the characterisation of mine wastes, assessing the risks of water quality impacts from mine developments and developing options to reduce potential impacts. David has worked on numerous projects in the context of mining, waste management and mine water management. Key skills include laboratory and field-scale assessment of mine water chemistry, ARDML prediction and geochemical modelling, preparation of ARDML studies from pre-feasibility stage through to closure planning, and water quality baseline studies.  David has completed projects in the UK, Europe, Africa, North and South America, and Asia.
