Diana has technical experience in open pit optimisation, design, scheduling, cost estimation and technical-economic evaluation.
Diana’s professional career includes operational experience obtained in a copper open pit mine in Chile as a Shift Supervisor, leading the unit operations and personnel in charge of meeting production goals. Subsequently, she worked as an Operational Excellence Engineer, leading continuous improvement projects to reduce bottlenecks through data analysis and managing the start-up of these projects.
During her career, she had worked in open pit and underground copper projects located in South America, and as a consultant, she has worked in open pit gold and polymetallic projects located throughout Europe and Asia. She has experience in various mining software packages including Deswik, Auto CAD, Surpac, Minesched, Studio NPVS and Whittle.
