Guilherme Campos Ribeiro

Guilherme stands out for his expertise in project management, client relations, multidisciplinary studies, and detailed designs for tailings storage structures related to commodities such as iron, phosphate, niobium, copper, and gold, providing consultancy and solutions tailored to clients’ needs.

He has been involved in developing and constructing numerous waste disposal structures (tailings and waste rock), from pre-feasibility to closure stages, with a broad scope of tailings management, including filtered tailings piles, cycloning, co-disposal piles, and dams. He also has experience in numerical modeling, rockfill dam design, geological-geotechnical investigation plans, geotechnical characterization, instrumentation and monitoring, risk assessment (FMEA/HIRA), due diligence, audits, design review, and some knowledge in the fields of seismicity, hydrology, and hydraulics.

Guilherme has led the development of numerous mining projects involving new tailings storage structures and technical regularization of existing structures, following international standards such as GISTM and CDA guidelines. Additionally, he has participated in various projects for building foundation sizing and containment structure design.
