Guilherme is experienced in project management, client contact, multidisciplinary studies and detailed design of tailings storage structures related to the commodities of iron, phosphate, niobium, copper and gold stands out, providing consultancy and focused solutions to clients.
He has been involved in the design and construction of numerous tailings facilities, from pre-feasibility to closure, with a broad scope of tailings management, including filtered tailings piles, cycloning, co-disposal piles and dams. He also has experience in numerical modeling, rockfill dam design, geological-geotechnical investigation plans, geotechnical characterization, instrumentation and monitoring, risk assessment (FMEA) and some knowledge in the disciplines of seismicity, hydrology and hydraulics.
Guilherme has recently led the development of mining projects involving new tailings storage structures and the technical regularization of existing structures following international standards, such as the GISTM and CDA guidelines. He has also taken part in various projects to design foundations and containment structures.
