Jaime has worked on projects in Colombia, Nicaragua ,Panama, Canada, India, and Mexico, covering fieldwork, detailed engineering design, risk analysis, and mine closures.
He holds a MSc in civil geotechnical engineering from the Universidad de Los Andes in Colombia. He has also collaborated on research projects with the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Montpellier.
Jaime has experience auditing international standards in tailings management and has prepared technical reports, construction and instrumentation plans, and surface water controls. He has been involved in construction quality control and served as a deputy engineer of record (EOR) for a TSF.
He has also contributed to PFS/FS studies and bid-ready construction drawing packages for projects in Latin America.
