Jamie Price is a Resource Geologist with eight years of experience in resource geology and mineral exploration. Jamie specialises in 3D geological modelling, resource estimation, prospectivity analysis, and structural geology. He has worked on a wide variety of hydrothermal and magmatic deposit styles, with expertise in orogenic gold and Li-Cs-Ta pegmatite mineral systems and he is an advanced user of various geological software including Leapfrog Geo, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, QField, ioGAS and GPlates.
Jamie has varied technical expertise, including geological and structural mapping, drillhole planning for exploration and resource development, Mineral Resource estimation in accordance with international reporting codes, resource audits and due diligence reviews, and regional mineral systems and prospectivity analysis for a range of commodities. Jamie’s work commonly forms the basis of a range of technical reports, including NI 43-101 and JORC-compliant MRE reports, Competent Persons Reports, and Independent Technical Reports.
Jamie has a PhD in Structural Geology, Geochemistry and Economic Geology from Cardiff University, and has presented at various academic and industry-related conferences in the UK, North America and Australia. He has a background in gold exploration in Western Australia and West Wales, has led multiple international field trips, and contributes to the SRK Applied Structural Geology Masterclass.
