Joanna specialises in developing mine waste management strategies. She has been involved in a range of projects focusing on new tailings storage facility (TSF) design (concept through to detailed), cost estimation, operational support and closure.
She is experienced in tailings deposition modelling, seepage and slope stability analysis, dam breach analysis, surface water modelling, water balance development and landform evolution modelling.
Joanna currently holds the Deputy Engineer of Record position for a cross-valley style TSF located in Western Australia.
