Leslie’s field and office-based work experience includes designing and implementing groundwater and seepage monitoring programs, completing hydrogeological/geochemical investigations and surface water-groundwater assessments. She has experience developing complex hydrogeological conceptual site models, which included identification and characterization of primary groundwater flow pathways and contaminant assemblages.
She has worked as a project manager and technical specialist on multi-disciplinary teams on mining projects in British Columbia.
Leslie graduated with a BSc in earth and ocean sciences from the University of Victoria (2008). In 2012, she completed a thesis-based MSc program at the University of Calgary in aqueous geochemistry, focused on major ion and stable isotope geochemistry of surface water and groundwater.
