Lisa graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in earth and ocean sciences from the University of Victoria (2000) and a Masters of Science in chemical oceanography from McGill University (2006).
Lisa has conducted field and office-based work for projects involving static and kinetic geochemical characterization of ore deposits and mining wastes (both operational and metallurgical), inventories of historic mines in British Columbia, environmental impact assessment for proposed mines, and permitting for advanced exploration and bulk sampling.
Her project experience includes geochemical characterization of waste rock and/or tailings for a number of projects, including the lead-zinc Selwyn Project (Yukon), Yellowknife Gold Project (NWT), Lodgepole coal project (BC), MAX Molybdenum mine (BC), and Minera Alumbrera (Argentina). Lisa has also worked on behalf of the Department of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (Nunavut) in a review capacity (Doris North and Cullaton Lake). Lisa also has experience in geochemical sampling of surficial materials and geotechnical logging.
