Marcela has served as project manager and specialist engineer in closure plans, closure cost estimation studies for the large-scale mining industry in Chile, environmental audits, due diligence, environmental, and geochemical studies.
She has carried out consulting projects in the environmental engineering field proposing environmental solutions for conceptual, basic, and detail engineering projects, as well as geochemistry characterization for dump materials, tailings, water quality, waste management, and closure cost estimation.
She has participated in due diligence and public documents for transactions in the stock market (NI 43-101) giving support to the environmental management in mining operations mainly in the large-scale mining industry at national and international level.
