Marcie Schabert

She specializes in water quality assessments and operational water management. She develops geochemical conceptual models, characterization, and interpretation programs that track water movement and interactions, as well as assessing changes that occur through in-situ treatment processes.

Marcie also has experience in assessing the fate of attenuated constituents as well as the longevity and reversibility of attenuation processes. This work often utilizes specialized isotope and chemical speciation data, along with geochemical modeling tools to support interpretations. It includes designing and implementing laboratory, pilot, and field-scale testing. These projects aim to improve the water quality leaving mine sites by leveraging or enhancing attenuation processes.
