Maria Inés has wide-ranging experience in environmental management for mining projects in all stages and in the development of due diligence, independent technical reviews, and audits for which she reviews the compliance of national standards and international guidelines as well (EP, IFC) for financial entities and private clients. She has acquired extensive knowledge of environmental impacts of different types of projects and mining environments from her experience in environmental studies for mining projects in Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, and Argentina.
She has served as senior reviewer, head of project and coordinator of specific studies leading work teams of local specialists and interacting with both project directors and local environmental authorities. She is an active member of AusIMM since April 2010.
