Prior to working in ArcelorMittal, Mrinal spent more than 7 years in SRK Consulting (India) and was responsible for executing mine planning related works for commodities like Coal, Iron Ore, Bauxite, Limestone etc. During his association with SRK, he was involved in multiple open pit mining studies conducted at various engineering levels, contributing in strategic/ long term mine planning, pit optimization, scheduling, life of mine planning, preparation of phase wise pit and dump designs, quantity, and quality estimations. In addition to technical projects, Mrinal worked on several due diligence projects and reviews.
Mrinal has also practical experience in Open pit and underground Coal mines while working with Maheshwari Mining and Hindalco during 2005 – 2011.
