Nitish has a strong background in applying geological principles to optimize mining operations, increase efficiency, and ensure resource safety. His expertise includes planning and managing Exploration Programme, Geological Modelling using industry-standard software like Leapfrog, Datamine Studio, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to maintain a seamless flow of information between geology, engineering, and production departments.
Prior to joining SRK, Nitish was associated with Vedanta Resources (Hindustan Zinc Limited), mainly involved in underground base metal (Lead, Zinc & Silver) mines in Rajasthan and performed the role of underground mine geologist involved in mine operational assistance like Underground geological mapping, exploration & mine development and production planning, mineral analytical assay QAQC, resource estimation, grade control, Stope reconciliation, dilution control protocols.
Nitish also has overseas experience in Oman where he worked in an open cast Copper-Gold mine as a Lead Geologist and was involved in mine management and grade control programme.
