Peter’s broad experience includes field investigations (planning and executing), laboratory programs, construction quality assurance programs, mine waste siting studies, dam design, waste rock facility design, and instrumentation and monitoring.
He also has extensive experience in the development of tailings management systems, including operations, maintenance and surveillance manuals (OMS), risk assessments, cost estimation, development of closure and landform design, and closure planning. Peter’s areas of interest are mine waste design and management, landform design, and integrated closure planning.
