His main area of interest is in the design of mine waste management facilities (Tailings and waste rock) includes conceptual to detailed engineering design, construction supervision and operation. He has also been part of the review (DSR and DSI) of the design, construction and operation of various TSF’s. A major component of his experiences developing the risk assessment by the evaluation of the hazard potential and consequence classification (FMEA and Dam breach analyses). He also holds experience in site investigation planning and coordination, instrumentation and monitoring, and some knowledge of hydrotechnical disciplines such hydrogeology, hydrology and seismicity.
He also has experience in the port industry as geotechnical consultant for offshore and nearshore foundation specialist, involving site investigation, lab testing, deep foundation design and land reclamation design together with construction supervision and quality control.
He has worked on various projects in North America, Europe and South America
