Since joining SRK South Africa in 2008, Riona has been involved in various geological projects, with an emphasis on hydrogeology. Since joining SRK US, she has additionally been focused on geochemical investigations largely within the mining sector. Her expertise includes geological sample collection, including water, rock and soil; geochemical data collection, processing, analyses and reporting; groundwater supply investigations; groundwater and surface water contamination investigations; groundwater, surface water and effluent monitoring; groundwater impact assessments; general groundwater and geology investigation; groundwater monitoring projects; groundwater resource evaluation at local and regional scale; groundwater drilling and pumping tests; borehole construction; geotechnical desk studies; soil profile logging; geotechnical and hydrogeological borehole logging (core and rock chippings); geological exploration and field mapping; GIS mapping and database analyses; project management.
