Sam’s expertise includes multi-disciplinary consultancy encompassing broad experience in industrial and civil infrastructure design. Since joining SRK in 2011 Sam has been primarily involved in the design, construction, and operation of tailings storage facilities, and the management of other mine wastes, at all stages from inception to operation, with a focus on the delivery of cost-effective and constructible designs. While most of Sam’s project work has been in Queensland, he also has considerable international experience including projects in challenging high-rainfall environments including PNG, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
Sam currently leads the SRK Brisbane Mine Waste team, he is a Registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Queensland and maintains Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Australia.
