She worked as a consultant in hydrogeology in Peru and came to Chile in 2016 to develop a postdoctoral research on geothermal energy at University of Chile, Department of Geology (Faculty of Physical and Mathematics Sciences) where she developed conceptual and numerical hydrogeological models with FEFLOW.
Saskia joined the Hydrogeology area of SRK in 2018, where she has developed flow, transport, variable density models, with finite elements and differences applied to metallic and non-metallic mining along with modeling in partially saturated systems of landfills and solid waste, tailings, among others.
