Soren has a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. He has developed, designed, commissioned, and operated mine water treatment processes for mining operations. He has produced detailed water management studies as well as feasibility and scoping level engineering design for mine water treatment processes with a particular focus on ARD impacted mine water and control and removal of suspended sediment. He also advanced the development of treatment technologies for removal of dissolved metals and sulphate from ARD impacted mine water. His work has included preparing environmental assessments (water quality predictions) and discharge permit applications for projects in Canada.
