Subhankar specialises mostly in exploration, mine grade control, resource modelling, technical due diligence and technical audit programs. Prior to joining SRK in 2018, he has gone through several training and internship programmes. He has worked with commodities such as coal, iron, chromite, bauxite and manganese since joining SRK. He has been involved with planning and managing exploration projects, practice of grade control data generation, and resource modelling.
Subhankar is responsible for undertaking geological mapping, core logging, sampling and reviewing the QAQC protocols, database management, geological modelling using specific software. He has worked in different Technical Audit projects and is conversant with International Public Reporting Codes (including JORC Code 2012) for reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves.
Subhankar is a regular user of geomodelling software like Leapfrog, Datamine, Surpac (limited experience) and GIS applications.
