Tiaren has over 10 years of experience specializing in the interpretation, analysis, and processing of geophysical, geological and hydrogeological data for hydrogeology, geotechnics and mining projects.

Designing and implementing geophysical experiments, leading the coordination and administration of geological, geophysical and hydrogeological field campaigns including display and management of geophysical equipment, surface and groundwater sampling and infiltration testing, as well as the subsequent processing and analysis of data in cabinet. 

In addition, she has solid knowledge in numerical modelling of seismic waves propagation and water flow in unsaturated media with good command of different techniques and commercial software for data processing and GIS.

She has participated in different research projects involving the application of geophysical methods for the characterization of faults and sedimentary basins in Northern Chile, including the evaluation of the geometry, limits, and recharges of hydrological basins, as well as the estimation of the nature and the potential of the seismic activity in cortical faults based on their location and geometry.
