Dr Tony Rex is a hydrogeologist with over 30 years’ professional experience in mine water management and water resources aspects of environmental assessments. Starting his career in geology and geochemistry, he worked as an exploration geologist before diversifying into hydrogeology, mine water management, and environmental management. Tony advises on multiple aspects of mine water management including hydrogeology and surface water hydrology, mine dewatering and pit slope management, mine water supply, water resources environmental assessments, water contamination, and closure aspects. He has worked on a wide variety of hydrogeological and environmental studies in Europe, Western and Central Africa, and CIS countries.
