Viсtor has the experience with initiating and managing survey monitoring displacement using Global Positioning and Global Navigation Satellite Systems, extensometers and prism monitoring. He designed of advanced automated monitoring programs. Viсtor has investigated and analysed actual slope failures in open pits to investigate the causes and performed reverse engineering analysis.
His experience includes organising collection of geotechnical data from geotechnical coring, surface mapping of fracturing networks, rock property laboratory test work and rock mass characterisation.
Victor has participated in underground mining projects for performing geotechnical mine audits, geotechnical risk-based assessments, in-situ strain-stress measurements using hydrofracturing and stability analysis of underground excavations (stable spans). Victor participated in development of Russian Federal Safety Rules: Safety Practice of Pit Slope Stability, Opencast and Waste Dump Slope Stability 2020.
