His work has included hydrogeological impact assessments, well testing to characterise mine hydrology, numerical modelling to assess tailings seepage, to design well fields for water supply and for pit slope stability. His more recent project work has covered technical studies up to feasibility level on open pit and underground dewatering operations, water supply, mine water balances, design and costing of mine water management infrastructure as well as on assessments of potential environmental impact due to acid rock drainage. He has also completed quantitative risk assessments of tailings waste facilities and performed due diligence and audit work.
