Our consulting practice has evolved to meet the changing requirements of our clients and the markets that we work in. We service clients in private and public sectors that include mining, chemical, water, industrial and commercial and parastatals an all tiers of government. We have completed numerous projects for high profile clients that include major and junior mining companies, banks and financial institutions, chemical and petroleum companies, and their service providers, firms that service the energy, transport and aviation sectors, central government ministries of Water and Sanitation, Environmental Affairs, Mineral Resources and Energy, provincial government departments and local government entities that include metropolitan councils, district and local municipalities.
Our services cover the many and diverse aspects of exploration, mining due diligence studies, engineering studies, compilation of competent/qualified persons reports, tailings and waste, water, groundwater, environmental and social impact assessments, geotechnics, mining related civil and structural engineering, energy and municipal engineering. Our coastal nodes, in Natal (Durban and Pietermaritzburg offices), the Eastern Cape (Port Elizabeth and East London), Western Cape (Cape Town), mainly provide services in the water, geotechnics, energy and environmental sectors.
Our Central node (Johannesburg and Pretoria focus on geology, mining and a wide range of services to the mining and Petro-Chemical industries in South Africa, Africa and overseas as well
We will continue to develop further geographically, with offices in South Africa, the rest of Africa and other regions, e.g. the Middle East adds to our range of services.
Strategic initiatives include: a focus on expanding our services in renewable energy, nuclear site investigations and public sector service delivery, such as municipal infrastructure and water supply; major infrastructure development in Africa, such as dams, power stations and, transport, development and expansion of our groundwater modelling capabilities, assessing the impact of climate change and providing solutions, e.g. developing disaster management plans. We intend to develop the potential in African countries, with a greater focus on marketing and business development, and, expanding our practices in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Ghana. We will continue to make improvements in quality, health and safety, staff development and demographic transformation.
