Fires and Fire Modeling – Past, Present, and Future. What Do We Really Know? | March 30, 12:00PM
This presentation is about the past, present, and future of fire modeling for the mining industry. We will look briefly at the reasons why fire modeling is an important part of the design process, and examine the origins of fire modeling software, and recent developments in both software and fire parameter definitions. This presentation will also explore what the mining industry can learn from other industries to help further enhance our modeling software programs.
