Demand for critical minerals is growing rapidly as the green transition gathers pace. Critical minerals are integral to the manufacturing of everything from renewable energy-technology to national defence applications. But their supply chains are vulnerable to disruption in a world of volatile geopolitical developments.
Following the success of last year’s conference, and in light of the UK government’s publication of the first-ever Critical Minerals Strategy in July 2022, the Geological Society Business Forum and the Critical Minerals Association are hosting a conference at the Geological Society, Burlington House, on the 28th November 2022 that brings together industry-leading stakeholders, thought leaders, civil servants, innovators, and academics to discuss the delivery of this strategy. The conference will include presentations and panels on UK midstream development, security of supply, research and innovation, Gigafactories, global distribution, and much more.
Location: Burlington House (Piccadilly, London) and online.
