Head of the West Coast Tailings Group, Pepe Moreno will be transitioning to a new stage in his career as an Associate after 16 years with the company.

Pepe, who has worked sixteen years at SRK, and spent seven prolific years leading the tailings group on the west coast, has elected to step into independent consultancy. During his tenure, Pepe played a pivotal role in shaping SRK’s tailings management strategies, delivering exceptional results, and fostering strong relationships with clients and partners.

Pepe will continue to serve SRK's clients as an Associate, honing his focus on key technical aspects of tailings management. His extensive knowledge and experience are expected to continue to drive success and innovation within the industry.

This transition underscores Pepe’s unwavering dedication to tailings management and to the strong client relationships he has nurtured over the years and we look forward to continuing our partnership with Pepe in his new capacity," says Carl Murray, Managing Director of SRK Australia.

Joe Rola, a Principal Tailings Engineer with some 20 years of experience across Australia, South East Asia and North America and 7 years with SRK, will be taking over as the head of West Coast tailings.

Joe brings a considerable wealth of experience to the field, positioning him as the ideal candidate to lead the team into the future," says Carl.

Joe specialises in all aspects of managing mine and power generation waste products, with a particular interest in the investigation and design of stabilisation measures and the design of dewatered tailings storage facilities.

I am excited for this opportunity to lead our exceptional team and I know we will continue to offer the highest quality service to our clients," says Joe.
