The focus for International Women in Engineering Day (IWED) 2022 is looking towards the future and highlighting the inventors and innovators who will change the industry for the better. We are proud to recognize the women in engineering at SRK who have paved the way, providing role models for generations of female engineers to come.
In addition to supporting IWED, SRK is a proud sponsor of the 2022 International Women in Resources Mentoring Programme. The IWRMP gives mentees opportunities to accelerate their all-round professional growth in the mining industry. We are pleased to support and participate in an initiative that empowers women to progress their careers, overcome professional challenges, and build confidence.
This year, we asked SRK women engineers across the world to share their experiences, inspirations, and challenges with the aim of encouraging and advising professional women who may be considering careers as engineers and scientists in the mining industry.
