Despite the Coronavirus pandemic, MINEX Forum took place with all the necessary precautions. SRK Consulting supports the MINEX Forum annually acting as a Gold Sponsor in 2020.

It was a pleasure to meet colleagues and clients face to face at our stand virtually and online.

SRK presentations at the Forum included:

SRK Master Class: Why do projects go wrong and what systemic risks exist in the current design process?

A key element for a project to be successful is that it is designed to be efficient, deliver an optimal economic return and minimise the environmental impact, and that the key risks which may prevent these outcomes are identified, quantified and mitigated. However, projects still go wrong for a variety of reasons. In this masterclass, SRK will comment on some of the reasons for both Russian and international projects, and how these risks should be managed.
