SRK Consulting is very pleased to welcome Dr. Anoush Ebrahimi to our Vancouver office as a Principal Mining Engineer. Anoush adds his strong open pit mine design and optimization skills to our mining engineering team.
Anoush
has 23 years of mining experience, specializing in strategic mine planning, open pit mine design, mine evaluation, production scheduling, mine layout optimization, mine simulation and computer modeling.
Anoush
has worked in Canada and abroad on mining projects ranging from conceptual studies to construction. His diversified experience includes gold, copper, polymetals, coal, manganese, phosphate, bauxite and oil sand
projects. During the last 2 years, he has provided mining services for the Schaft Creek copper project in BC, the Zafranal copper project in Peru, the Magino gold project in Ontario, the Arctic polymetal project
in Alaska, and the Artillery Peak manganese deposit in Arizona. Mines he designed that are now in operation include the Endako molybdenum mines in BC and the Gualcamayo gold mine in Argentina.
In addition,
Anoush is an adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia, an instructor at the British Columbia Institute of Technology and a director of the CIM Vancouver branch. He has authored and presented numerous
technical papers at CIM, SME and other conferences and seminars.
