Shangri-la Due Diligence Study and Resource Estimation
SRK provided technical services in 2015 to Goldstone Investment Ltd, a subsidiary of China CITIC, for its acquisition of two mines in Shangri-la region, Yunnan Province, China. Beiya is an operating open pit mine producing both gold and iron concentrates, and Hongniu is a developing underground copper mine. SRK conducted a due diligence study on the projects, including site visits, dataverification, re-estimating the mineral resources, and converting ore reserves. SRK prepared a technical review report for Goldstone’s decision making.
