SRK was commissioned to complete a Qualified Person’s Report and Independent Valuation of the Bukit Besi Iron Project in Malaysia. The work was done in support of Fortress Mining’s successful listing on the Catalist, the secondary board of the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX).
Prior to SRK’s engagement Fortress had commenced iron ore mining and processing and had achieved stable production and export operations of magnetite concentrate despite no formal Mineral Resources or Ore Resources being reported. SRK prepared Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resources in accordance with the JORC Code (2012) and developed a 3-year mine plan based on historical production performance records and production reconciliation of operating performance data.
The Independent Valuation Report was prepared under the Rulebook of the Catalist Board of the SGX and the guidelines of the 2015 Edition of the Australasian Code for the Public Reporting of Technical Assessments and Valuations of Mineral Assets (VALMIN Code).
On 27 March 2019, Fortress Minerals Limited commenced trading on the Catalist of Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited under the ticker symbol SGX.OAJ.
