Independent Specialist Report for Kangaroo’s coal projects
KPMG Corporate Finance commissioned SRK to prepare an independent specialist report incorporating a technical assessment and valuation of the Indonesian coal assets held by Kangaroo Resources. The report was prepared under the guidelines of the VALMIN Code (2015), which incorporates the JORC Code (2012).
To prepare this report, SRK conducted a high-level review of the available coal resources and coal reserves at Kangaroo’s Indonesian coal projects to determine their validity from a valuation perspective. SRK then prepared a valuation of these projects in order to support KPMG’s opinion regarding the fairness and reasonableness of a scheme of arrangement transaction with PT Bayan Resources Tbk.
