Mineral Resource update for the Longonjo REE Project
SRK Consulting was commissioned by Pensana Metals to prepare an update of the Mineral Resource model and estimates for the Longonjo Neodymium-Praseodymium Project, located in the Huambo province of Angola. The previous Mineral Resource estimates for the Longonjo rare earth elements (REE) Project were prepared by SRK in 2019.
The REE mineralisation is contained within a collapsed carbonatite diatreme. Prolonged periods of weathering have resulted in the residual enrichment of monazite and bastnaesite, which are the main host minerals for the rare earth elements.
