Operational Benchmarking for Iron Ore and Chromite Mines in India
SRK was commissioned by CRISIL and World Bank to undertake operational benchmarking of Odisha Mining Corporation's (OMC) operating iron ore and chromite mines against peer companies. SRK examined performance metrics across mine design and operating parameters, equipment capacity and performance, process facility, and operating cost performance. SRK completed a gap analysis on information technology support systems, discussed OMC's present performance and standards for quality control, environment, corporate social responsibility, and health and safety issues, and provided development guidance.
