ESG Best Practice Alignment
SRK reviewed environmental, social and governance (ESG) aspects of the Ovoot Coking Coal Project to help Aspire Mining Limited to develop the project in alignment with international best practices. The review included an ESG risk assessment for international financing, assessment of the sufficiency and adequacy of the available environmental and social baseline data, review of the stakeholders engagement process, and analysis of opportunities for decarbonisation and potential public reporting, including climate-related disclosure.
As the result of the review an Action Plan was developed with a list of specific tasks, schedule and required resources.
